High Barns Solar Farm will improve the UK’s energy security by generating clean, renewable energy and help combat climate change. The solar farm, with a capacity of 49.9MW per annum, will create enough clean, renewable energy to power approximately 25,915 average UK homes. This is the equivalent of saving approximately 14,500 tonnes of CO2 each year, the same as taking around 8,620 cars off the road.
